Terms of Service.Clear. Practical. CarDrop.
These Terms explain how the CarDrop website, online appraisal requests, vehicle information, mobile appraisal requests, uploads and optional text-message communications work.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of cardropsouthflorida.com and related CarDrop online forms and services. By using the website or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit a request.
Website and CarDrop services
CarDrop provides vehicle-buying and appraisal-related services. The website is intended to help vehicle owners and authorized sellers learn about CarDrop, request an appraisal, provide vehicle information, choose an appraisal path and communicate with the CarDrop team.
CarDrop buys vehicles; the website is not a retail marketplace for purchasing vehicles from CarDrop. Information on the website is general and may be updated as CarDrop's services, locations and processes change.
Online appraisal requests are requests, not completed transactions
Submitting a standard appraisal, CarDrop Gold request, Fleet request or Mobile Appraisal request does not by itself create a binding purchase agreement, guarantee a vehicle value, confirm an appointment, reserve a time, or require either you or CarDrop to complete a transaction.
CarDrop may need additional information, photographs, documents or an in-person or on-site inspection before determining whether it can make or finalize an offer.
It tells CarDrop that you would like the team to review the information you provided and contact you about the next step.
Vehicle information and accuracy
You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. This may include the VIN, year, make, model, mileage, trim, condition, ownership status, lender or lessor information, accident or repair history, warning lights, modifications and other material details.
VIN-decoding or other automated lookup tools may rely on third-party data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing the displayed vehicle information and correcting it when necessary.
CarDrop may revise or withdraw an appraisal or offer if material information provided online differs from the vehicle, its documents, its actual condition or other information discovered during review or inspection.
Offers, inspections and reinspection
An offer is subject to the terms communicated with that offer and to verification of the vehicle's identity, mileage, condition, ownership and documentation. An online estimate, preliminary discussion or appraisal request is not a final payment commitment.
If a vehicle leaves CarDrop after an inspection or appraisal, CarDrop may reinspect the vehicle before completing a transaction. Changes in condition, mileage, warning lights, damage, documentation or other material facts may affect the offer.
Ownership, liens, leases, payoffs and authority to sell
You must have the legal right or appropriate authority to sell the vehicle or to act for the owner. Additional documentation may be required for company-owned vehicles, trusts, estates, inherited vehicles, co-owned vehicles or other non-standard ownership situations.
Financed, leased or negative-equity vehicles may require cooperation from a lender or lessor and may involve payoff verification, title-release requirements or additional funds from the seller. Third-party lender and lessor policies are outside CarDrop's control and can affect whether or how a transaction can be completed.
Mobile and on-site appraisal requests
A Mobile Appraisal or on-site Fleet request is a request for CarDrop to discuss an appraisal at a customer, business, storage or other agreed location. Submitting the request does not automatically confirm availability, an appointment time, transportation or collection.
CarDrop may contact you to confirm the location, access, vehicle availability and appropriate next steps. Service availability can vary by location, timing, vehicle and operational capacity.
Photos, files and other uploaded content
You may submit photographs or other vehicle-related information through certain CarDrop forms. Please upload only material relevant to the vehicle or appraisal request and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive documents or personal information.
By submitting vehicle photos or information, you give CarDrop permission to use that material as reasonably necessary to evaluate the vehicle, communicate with you, administer the request and maintain business records related to the appraisal or transaction.
You should only upload content that you have the right to provide.
Third-party services and information
The website may use or link to third-party services such as mapping, VIN information, lenders, lessors, ride services, communications providers or other external resources. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
CarDrop is not responsible for the accuracy, availability or policies of third-party websites, databases or services that it does not control.
Email, phone and service communications
When you submit contact information, you authorize CarDrop to contact you about the appraisal request or related vehicle-sale process using the information you provide. This may include phone calls and emails reasonably related to your request.
Customer confirmation emails are intended to acknowledge receipt of submitted information. They are not an offer, appointment confirmation or purchase agreement.
Optional SMS text messaging
SMS consent is optional.
If you voluntarily check the SMS consent box on a CarDrop appraisal, CarDrop Gold, Fleet or Mobile Appraisal request form, you consent to receive transactional text messages from CarDrop at the mobile number you provide. These messages may include confirmation that your request was received and follow-up related to the appraisal or vehicle-sale process.
- Message frequency varies based on your request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to submit an appraisal request, receive an appraisal or complete a transaction with CarDrop.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
CarDrop identifies itself in its outgoing transactional messages. For information about how CarDrop handles personal information and mobile numbers, see the Privacy Policy.
SMS consent applies only to the CarDrop messaging purpose described at the point of opt-in. Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from continuing with the underlying appraisal or vehicle-sale process using other available communication methods.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, knowingly provide fraudulent information, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
CarDrop may restrict or discontinue access to online services when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users or CarDrop's operations.
Website content and intellectual property
The CarDrop name, branding, website design, original text, graphics and other CarDrop-created content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the website for personal or business evaluation of CarDrop's services, but you may not copy, republish, sell, scrape or commercially exploit CarDrop content without permission except as allowed by law.
Third-party names, marks or data remain the property of their respective owners. References to vehicle manufacturers or third-party services do not imply affiliation unless expressly stated.
Disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law
The website and online tools are provided on an "as available" basis. CarDrop works to keep the site accurate and functional, but does not guarantee that every page, lookup, transmission or third-party service will always be error-free or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarDrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website or online tools. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Changes to these Terms
CarDrop may update these Terms as its website, services, communication methods or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use of the website after an update means the updated Terms apply to future use.
